Las Vegas Hotels Visitors Guide

The Bellagio Resort & Casino

  • Inspired by the village of Bellagio overlooking Lake Como in Italy, the Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas was designed in the model of classic Tuscan-style architecture you'd find in many Italian Villages. Once you get passed the bell tower marking the entrance to the winding driveway, world-renowned artist, Dale Chihuly's ceiling of glass flowers -- the Fiori di Como, much like the Venetian art of Italy, will have you reaching into your wallet to purchase one of these rare pieces of art, to take home as a lasting memorial to your vacation.

  • The world-famous Fountains of Bellagio will take your breath away. Sit back and enjoy an outdoor performance of lights and water, played to operatic and classical music. Allow choreographed performance to reach into the depths of your psyche, as composers like Marvin Hamlisch delight your ears. Lean back and close your eyes to the music of Aaron Copland directing the London Symphony Orchestra, or Italian tenor, Luciano Pavarotti singing, Rondine al Nido.

  • Bellagio's Conservatory & Botanical Gardens offer the senses a unique blend of blooming seasonal flora beneath a glass conservatory, once you pass through the lobby. There, in the ivory arches of the Lobby Shopping area, you may purchase sunglasses by artisan Barry Kielselstein-Cord or indulge your taste in fragrances from the Guerlain Boutique. Nestorian's signature jewelry and elegant gift ware will appeal to couples browsing for that unusual piece that will have others ringing up ka-ching, ka-ching from your bauble instead of the slots.

  • For unusual fine art make sure to capture Cirque du Soleil's "O." In the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, you'll experience works from Picasso, Degas, Monet and if you're searching for gaming, try your hand at the blackjack, baccarat, roulette and some of the world's best slot machines under a canopy of Mediterranean architecture. It's all there, whether you roll the dice or ante up in one of the poker rooms. Whether it's a fragrant wedding in front of Lake Bellagio, or an intimate honeymoon in one of Bellagio's suites, you'll be saying "Ciao! Bella, bella," when you say goodbye.

The Paris Las Vegas Resort & Casino

  • Are you longing for that opulent Hollywood-style, "je t'aime" romance of Paris? The Paris Las Vegas Resort & Casino offers a beau monde-style feeling most of us associate with springtime in Paris. Located on the Las Vegas strip, the Paris will remind you of cabarets, croissants, Channel, and the Parisian Rococo Art of Jean-Honoré Fragonard. The Paris offers a Vegas one-man show, Andre Philippe Gagnon, and he could be the best singing impressionist you'll when he changes from one voice to the next duplicating celebrities like Mick Jagger and Robert Goulet.

  • Chef Ryan Fahey's Rustic Eggplant Relish with Grilled Country Bread appetizer is a signature specialty and you'll be uttering oui la la when your waiter uncorks a bottle of Pinot Noir. As you gaze at the Trompe L'Oeil murals in the Le Provencal, allow your eyes to take in the old world style of decor from the arched doorways, to the leaded glass of the Mon Ami Gabi bistro doors, you'll enjoy the ambiance as you break open a toasted garlic aioli baguette and enjoy the fruits de mer.

  • Don't be surprised to hear an occasional bonjour, or accordions playing a rendition of Les Chansons Sous L'Occupation. Risqué at Paris Las Vegas offers a French twist to Night Culture, with sensual décor and sofas to lounge while the DJ plays world music mixes. Le Cabaret has the outdoor feel of Paris beneath twinkling lights of the trees. Take a seat at one of the bistro tables and enjoy the nightly entertainment.

  • The Eiffel Tower offers a view of Las Vegas from the top, and a gift shop beside the Le Pont Alexandre III Bridge on the main casino floor. Whether it's cigars from Paris-Bally's Promenade, Cartier, or haute coutre from La Ménagerie de Paris, you'll delight in shopping at Paris Hotel & Casino.

  • Suites range from the Suite Calais with separate parlours and views of the strip to signature European décor, the Suite LeMans and all of them feature French Regency-style armoires for closets. Guests are invited to stroll down the cobblestone sidewalks of the shopping district, relax in the and frolic in La Louvre. There's no doubt Paris has been recreated here. When the security guard passes you dressed as a gendarmes, say bon jour.

  • You'd better bring your French lessons so when you get a blackjack, you'll understand the dealers or an occasional "merci." The casino features Parisian streets surrounding the 850,000-square-foot casino. which offers a wide selection of slots and all the popular table games. But beware: Every time you get a blackjack, the dealers cheer in French. In fact, the staff is required to say "merci" and "bonjour" all the time, which gets old, but is all part of the fun.

  • History is in the making as you sunbathe beside Eiffel Tower replica. Enjoy the Balinese Spa by Mandera, next to the French gardens surrounding the pool area and don't forget to order a crepe on Paris Street before you depart. You'll be humming Allouette all the way back home.

If the audio and lighting systems don't make you want to party, then the stunning go-go dancers will. Don't let the two live Buddhist monks seated on a giant hand at the entry fool you, with the scens from Shanghai opium dens, you'll feel you've found nirvana.
