December offers the best climate for golfing. Twilight tee times offer the best bargains, but book early. Summer mid-day tee times are the least expensive, but the heat may be prohibitive. For those who want more affordable play, Callaway Golf Center is your place. Have a seat in any of the featured restaurants, backing up to the greens and enjoy golf without the greens fees.

 

Bali Hai Golf Course

For golf aficionados, Bali Hai Golf Course offers 5-star customer service with on-course food and beverage cart service and ambassador assistance for play. Bali Hai offers tropical greens in the spirit of Indonesia. Conveniently located on the Las Vegas strip Bali Hai was designed by Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt in the year 2000. Fore caddies are available and Bali Hai provides a dream course with a unique feel. Offering seven acres of water features, sugary white sand pits, volcanic rock outcroppings and it's very own par-3 island green. Bali Hai features a plethora of tropical trees and palms, this par-71 has spectacular views of the hotels on the strip from some of the fairways. Spectators seated on Cili Restaurant's patio can watch when you play #3. This course is challenging and when you load your clubs to leave, you'll be convinced this is a one-of-a-kind course.

Royal Links Golf Club

Opened in 1998 this course was voted ones of “Top 10 You Can Play.” Tiger Woods holds the course record with a remarkable 67 here. Royal Links offers a Scottish -styled castle featuring paintings of past pros and clubs which has it's own Stymie's Pub. If you're searching for that British Open feel, in close proximity, (only 15 minutes drive) to the strip, then you'll love this course. All groups are escorted by a fore caddie throughout their rounds and St. Andrews #2 at Preswick inspired some of the holes. If you can't play in the British Open, then Royal Links is your next best bet.

Badlands Golf Course

Designed by Johnny Miller and Chi Chi Rodriguez in 1995, this course offers 27 holes of beautiful desert terrain for the daredevil golf enthusiast. Only 11 minutes away from the strip, Badlands offers a craggy challenge from the torrential rains running off the mountains. You'll enjoy trick shots in a stark desert surrounding. If you are the adventurous golfer, enjoy hitting an 8 iron off the tee and then wedge into the green, you'll love Badlands. You'll find four tees to choose from here, as the course winds through arroyos and canyons with huge boulders which demand skill. The Red Rock mountains offer a scenic backdrop. Once you've played the par-3 #8 on the Desperado nine, you'll know you want to come back.
