The Echelon Las Vegas is currently in the process of being built and it is set to open in 2010. This Las Vegas Hotel will be located right on the Las Vegas Strip near the Riviera and Circus Circus. The Echelon Las Vegas willstand wher the Stardust once stood. The design of the Echelon Las Vegas is upscale and modern.

The Echelon will be a complete Las Vegas complex There is a planned 140,000 sq ft casino in the Echelon. When it is complete, the Echelon will have the largest casino floor in Las Vegas. There will also be a shopping promenda and a 750,000 sq ft convention center and meeting space called the Las Vegas Expo Center. The Ecelon Place is part of the Boyd Gaming Industry. The Echelon Place will also be home to two state of the art theaters.

Note: Construction for the Echelon has been put on delay for another 3 or 4 quarters until the credit market improves. Plans to build the hotel are still going ahead as planned.

The Echelon is actually a combination of 5 seperate hotels on the same property. The Shangri-La blends serentiy and warmth with the charm of the middle east. The hotel Enclave has its own special entrance and a high level of style. The Hotel Echelon will have 2,500 hotel rooms and is graced with a lush landscape, beautiful pools and fine restaurants with upscale bars.

The Echelon is destined to be one one of the Las Vegas Strip's most distinguishing landmarks. This luxury hotel will compete aginas its neighbors, the Wynn, The Venetian or the Bellagio. The Echelon Las Vegas is scheuled to be a four bilion dollar undertaking resulting in luxury that will surpass expectations. The Echelon Hotel should revive the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip making it the place to go in Las Vegas.
