Not with this tour, with the Hoover Dam tour you get to pick which part of the dam you want to start with and then the two hour tour then takes you through the rest of the dam. No matter where you decide to begin, the tour starts with a video that goes over the early phases of the dam. Tour groups then head over for a tour of the power generators which are located along the base of the dam.
For those looking for the perfect picture opportunity, get your cameras ready as you near the observation deck. You will be able to take in breath taking views of Lake Mead and the Colorado River. Visitors can also get a close up view of the mechanical parts that make the dam work.
From the Nevada Intake Tower all the way to the Winged Figures of the Republic, the Hoover Dam is a masterpiece in human ingenuity. Its no wonder why the dam continues to be one of Vegas' most frequented landmarks.
